Registration:


N.B. All applications for registration must be accompanied by:
  1. The copy of the Certificate of Service.
  • and
  1. Application for Registration form (or both copies of the old foal
  • Fillies $20 To be submitted for full registration as foals. Please ensure you give full details of markings.
  • Geldings $10 Procedure as for fillies.
  • Colts $10 Colts remain foal registered until they are,
    1. Gelded — in which case the secretary must be advised accordingly. A full registration certificate will then be issued at no extra charge.
    • or
  • Stallions $150
    1. Until they are aged between two and four years, or are used for stud duties. At this time, full registration must be applied for and the stallion must pass the veterinary certificate of soundness. Adult registration forms and certificate of soundness forms are available at no extra charge.
    • or
    1. Sold as an Entire. The $150 fee is paid by the vendor before transfer is completed. Thus the vendor, by not gelding the colt, is standing by his opinion that the animal is top quality and suitable for breeding purposes. If the colt is subsequently gelded or dies prior to serving mares or being adult registered, or does not pass veterinary inspection, 80% of registration fee will be refunded to the owner.
  1. Applications must be submitted within 12 months of foaling.
  2. Breeders are to fill in all information correctly and return to the secretary with payment.
  3. A certificate of service must be completed by the stallion owner.
  4. Foal or adult application can only be made from financial members of the Society.

Other Fees:

Annual Subscription: $10 (joining fee — for new members) $35 (Single) or $40 (Family membership)

Transfer of ownership: $10

To be paid by vendor. Registration papers go to the secretary with transfer details completed on reverse of registration certificate.

Leasing of Pony: $10

To be paid by owner of pony.

Registration of Prefix: $40

Application form to be completed and sent to the secretary for registration of firebrand.

Registration of Firebrand: $25

Committee approval. Please include 2nd choice.

Duplicate Registration Certificate: $10

Only issued in the case where the original certificate is lost.
